HE the Minister of Culture, Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Hamad al-Thani paid homage Wednesday to a group of Qatari innovators in culture, along with professionals and researchers in antiquities and museums for 2023.
The event took place during a ceremony held at the conclusion of the 27th meeting of the GCC Undersecretaries of the Ministries of Culture, held in Muscat.
Among the honoured personalities were the Qatari poet and diplomat, Dr Hassan Ali Hussein al-Nama who holds PhD grade from the University of Cambridge, US, and has a poetic experience that abounds with published and unpublished poems, along with the poet Faleh bin Mubarak al-Hajri who worked in journalism and provided several TV programmes specialised in Nabati poetry and folklore.
In Antiquities and Museums, director of survey and archaeological research department at Qatar Museums, Prof. Noura Khalaf al-Hamidi was honoured, alongside acting director of education department at Qatar Museums, Salem Abdullah al-Aswad.
