Amir calls for opening safe corridors in Gaza for aid in meeting with Blinken

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani met Friday at Lusail Palace with the visiting US Secretary of State Antony Blinken.
The meeting discussed bilateral relations, ways to enhance and develop them in all fields, and a number of regional and international issues of joint interest, particularly developments in the Palestinian territories and humanitarian conditions there.
His Highness the Amir stressed during the meeting the importance of efforts aimed at de-escalation, opening safe corridors in Gaza for aid and humanitarian efforts, and ensuring the conflict does not expand regionally. He also stressed Qatar's firm position on condemning the targeting of civilians. The meeting was attended by HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohamed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim al-Thani.
