The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that the number of Palestinian martyrs has risen to 4,473 since the start of the Israeli aggression on Oct. 7.
In a statement on Saturday, the ministry said 4,137 deaths were recorded by the hospitals in Gaza Strip since the beginning of the aggression, while the number of martyrs in the governorates of the West Bank rose to 84, emphasising that 70% of fatalities in the sector were children, women, and elderly.
Over 15,400 citizens have been injured since the start of the aggression, including 14,000 in the Gaza Strip and 1,400 in the West Bank governorates, the statement added.
The West Bank is witnessing fierce tension with the deteriorating situations in the Gaza Strip as the relentless Israeli shelling enters the 15th day, resulting in thousands of deaths and injuries amid local and international warnings of a humanitarian catastrophe.
