The Customs Department officials at Hamad International Airport (HIA) have foiled an attempt to smuggle cocaine. According to a post by the General Authority of Customs (GAC), 2.52kg of cocaine was recovered from a traveller's bag, checked over suspicion. The banned substance was found hidden in the bag after a manual inspection.
