Innovation Cafe and Naseem Healthcare have successfully concluded the inaugural Naseem Healthcare Hackathon, described as a first in Qatar.
The event, held in Doha, united some of the brightest minds in Qatar to address pressing challenges faced in healthcare services, a statement said.
More than 90 applicants sought the opportunity to revolutionise Qatar's healthcare landscape. Eight teams were chosen to participate and each of them embarked on a mission to craft innovative solutions for Naseem Healthcare's most critical challenges: Seamless appointment booking, patient-doctor communication enhancement, measuring the ROI from digital marketing campaigns, and strengthening brand loyalty.
Ramzan Rashid al-Naimi, founder of Innovation Cafe, said: "The Naseem Healthcare Hackathon sheds light on the extraordinary potential of collective innovation. It's truly inspiring to witness the creativity, determination, and dedication exhibited by the participants in shaping the future of healthcare in Qatar."
The first prize winning team, TechTitans was awarded QR10,000, followed by team CuraVox in second place with QR7,000, while the third place went to InnovTech with QR5,000.
The panel of judges included Sheikh Mansour bin Khalifa al-Thani, founder of MBK Holding; Ramzan Rashid al-Naimi, founder and CEO of Innovation Cafe and Hisham Irshad, CFO from Naseem Healthcare.
