Thousands take part in marches in Brussels and in Cape Town in support of Palestinians living in Gaza as the Israel-Hamas conflict rages.
The South African rally was led by by clergy from different faiths, chanting "free Palestine". The rally demanded too the expellsion of Israeli ambassador. In Brussels the rally called for a "Free Palestine" and "Stopping of the genocide." Belgian police put the turnout at the demonstration, which marched through the centre of the city, at 21,000. AFP
