A free diabetes camp was organised by Blueberry Healthcare in Safari Mall to observe the World Diabetes Day in association with Imara Medical Centre, a statement said Tuesday. The theme was 'Diabetes- #thebeginingofnewjoy'A team of paramedical staff along with Blueberry Healthcare team conducted the camp. The chief guests were Kutty's Medical Centre managing director Dr Gopal Sankar, Safari Group managing director Shaheen Backer, and RAF Health executive director Aathif.Dr Sankar spoke on various aspects of diabetes and its care.The aim of the day-long camp was to create awareness on diabetes. and individuals’ health status. More than 500 people benefited. Tests for blood sugar, blood pressure, SPO2 and BMI were done. Blood glucose monitoring machines were given at subsidised rate for Safari Customers on the day.The camp was organised by Dandabany Devarajan and his team from Blueberry Healthcare International with the support of Safari staff.
