The "You Matter" initiative of the Ministry of Interior (MoI)’s Facilities and Authorities Department, in co-operation with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE), the Ministry of Sports and Youth, the Qatar Football Association, and the Qatar Stars League organisation, organised Tuesday a training session entitled "Stadium Falcons", with the participation of 100 students.
The training session, which also saw the participation of football stars, was attended by Civil Defence Director-General Major-General Hamad Othman al-Dehaimi, a number of officials from the relevant authorities, and more than 2,700 primary and middle school students.
The training session was presented as a friendly match in which a group of football stars participated, as well as implementing four scenarios for cases of assault, fainting, fire, and entry into stadiums, to train participants to deal with these situations if they occur.
During the training programme, a mini Civil Defence exhibition was held, while at the end of the training, Major-General al-Dehaimi honoured the participating parties in appreciation of their role in the success of the event.
