Vodafone Qatar recently participated in the University of Doha for Science and Technology (UDST) career fair as part of its ongoing partnership.
The event provided attendees with the opportunity to learn more about a range of different job opportunities, the skills required for certain careers, and hear about firsthand experiences from well-established professionals and companies.
Vodafone Qatar delivered a presentation at the UDST Career Awareness programme, while members of its talent management team, as well as UDST alumni, were on hand to speak to attendees and give them more insight about careers in the telecommunications industry.
Students were gifted for their participation in the workshop with eco-friendly bags, books, and a QR500 Vodafone voucher.
Khames al-Nuaimi, chief human resources officer at Vodafone Qatar, said: “It was a pleasure to be a part of UDST’s career fair and programme and meet the bright minds that will influence the ambitions of our digital-first, knowledge-based economy.
“We are committed to developing the talents of Qatari youth by providing them with the knowledge and skills to help them progress on their journey through university education and into the job market.”
