A total of 16 students from MES Indian School won medals in the International Hindi Olympiad organised recently by the Hindi Vikas Sansthan, New Delhi.
Syed Dawar Abbas (X-E) bagged a gold and the Rashtriya Hindi Pratibha Samman. He will receive the award from the office of Hindi Vikas Sansthan, New Delhi on November 30.
The other medal winners are: Gold - Joanna Saumya Arun (I-A), Abuzar Malik (II-F), Adithya Prasanth (II-F), Muhammad Riswan (III-G), Meenakshi Rakesh (IV-P), Maheen Malik (V-N), Neha Salim Anish (VI-O), Aaditha Sujith Nair (VII-Q), Darshan Shinde(VIII-D), Rinsha Fathima(VIII-N), Saketh Lakshman Kumar (IX-N), Syed Dawar Abbas (X-E). Silver - Arisha Aijaz (VI-O), Karthikeyan Premnath Thekyan (IX-C), Aroush Ali (VII-S) and Faizan Irfan Ahmed (XI-A). Principal Dr Hameeda Kadar congratulated the winners and the teachers of the department of Hindi.
