The Qatar chapter of Nest International Academy and Research Centre (Niarc) held a ceremony to celebrate the recognition of the parent organisation as the 'Best Rehabilitation Center and Welfare Institute for PWD (Persons with Disabilities)' by the Kerala government's social justice department.
The jubilation kicked off with a ceremonial cake-cutting by renowned motivational speaker P M A Gafoor. Niarc global chairman and Well Care Pharmacy managing director Ashraf K P, vice chairman Hameed M T, Qatar chapter acting chairman Khalid C P, general secretary Shanahas Edodi, Mustafa Eenam and Rasik KV were present.
In recognition of the achievement, Ashraf announced a 100-day celebration across all overseas chapters and the headquarters to reaffirm Niarc's commitment to empowering and uplifting the lives of individuals with special needs.
The Qatar chapter has planned an event at the Integrated Indian Community Centre on December 8 from 6.30pm. The focus is to showcase the talents of special needs children.
