The Jordanian government welcomed the extension of the humanitarian pause deal in the Gaza Strip for two additional days, commending the intensive diplomatic efforts made by the State of Qatar in partnership with the Arab Republic of Egypt and the United States of America.
Spokesperson for Jordan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs Sufyan Qudah emphasized the significance of this extension, as an important step toward ending the war on the Gaza Strip and ensuring the delivery of humanitarian aid to Palestinians in all areas of the Strip in order to ensure their survival in their homes and prevent forced displacement.
The Palestinian and Israeli sides have reached an agreement to extend the humanitarian pause in Gaza for two additional days with the same previous conditions. Those conditions are a ceasefire and the entry of humanitarian aid. The agreement was reached within the framework of the joint mediation between the State of Qatar, the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the United States of America.
