His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani met with the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Rishi Sunak, on the sidelines of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28), which was held on Friday in Expo City Dubai of the sisterly United Arab Emirates.
The meeting dealt with discussing bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and the means of developing them in all fields, particularly the political, economic, and commercial fields. The meeting also dealt with discussing the most prominent issues on the summit's agenda as well as the efforts of the two countries in combatting climate change.
The meeting was attended by HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, and a number of Their Excellencies, members of the official delegation accompanying His Highness the Amir. On the UK side, it was attended by a number of ministers and ranking officials.
