Two Qatar Armed Forces aircraft arrived Saturday in the Egyptian city of Al Arish, carrying 62 tonnes of aid, consisting of food supplies and shelter equipment, provided by the Qatar Fund For Development, the Qatar Red Crescent Society and Qatar Charity. The aid will be transported to Gaza. So far Qatar has sent 35 planes to Al Arish, carrying a total of 1,192 tonens of aid.
HE the Minister of State for International Co-operation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Lolwah bint Rashid AlKhater received the aid at Al Arish International Airport.
The aid is part of Qatar's support to the brotherly Palestinian people who are facing difficult humanitarian conditions.
