Qatar, represented by the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority (QCAA), is participating in the 15th International Conference on Air Services Negotiations (ICAN) of the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO), in Riyadh from Dec 3 to 7.
The event has the participation of more than 100 countries and international organisations as well as more than 700 experts and specialists in the field of civil aviation.
The Qatari delegation is headed by Mohamed Faleh al-Hajri, who is in-charge of managing the QCAA.
The ICAN2023 is considered the largest international event in its category. Negotiations and discussions are set to take place on both bilateral and multilateral fronts between delegations from the participating countries, with the aim of keeping pace with the rapid development in the air transport industry on a global scale, providing better services to the air transport community, as well as supporting the establishment of connections between regulatory bodies, air operators and other relevant service providers.
