Medical sources announced that at least 40 Palestinian civilians were martyred and dozens were injured as a result of Israeli airstrikes that targeted the city of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip.
The sources added that 10 other civilians were martyred in an Israeli bombing that targeted a house in the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip.
They indicated that occupation artillery and drones also bombed the vicinity of Kamal Adwan Hospital in Jabalia Camp.
According to the sources, 108 martyrs and dozens of wounded were taken to the Kamal Adwan Hospital which experiences a power outage and houses more than 7,000 displaced people. Medical teams were unable to perform any surgical operations in the hospital.
Medical sources warned of a massacre that the occupation might commit inside the Kamal Adwan Hospital, similar to the Al-Shifa and the Indonesian hospitals.
The sources confirmed that only four hospitals were operating in northern Gaza, and about 55 ambulances were out of service.
Meanwhile, an Israeli airstrike destroyed a mosque in the Bintan al-Sameen area in Khan Yunis, south of Gaza Strip, and the occupation gunboats fired shells towards the shore of the Khan Yunis Sea, south of the Gaza Strip.
Medical sources announced that the toll of martyrs since the start of the Israeli occupation aggression in Gaza Strip has climbed to 15,899, in addition to nearly 42,000 injured.
