The Ministry of Sports and Youth has launched a new edition of 'We are all responsible' campaign early this week at Al Sailiya area adopting the motto 'Our area deserves the best from its residents'.
The campaign was launched in the presence of Central Municipal Council chairman Mohamed bin Ali al-Azba, Ministry of Sports and Youth's Youth Affairs Department director Fawwaz al-Misafri and Youth Centre's head Mubarak al-Dosari and other officials.
Speaking to local Arabic daily Arrayah, al-Dosari stressed that this edition of 'We are all responsible' campaign is considered exceptional as large numbers of young people at Al Sailiya were trained from among those interested in the initiative and willing to serve their community.
They were enrolled into a number of training workshops focusing on safety and security in addition to environmental awareness and given the opportunity to plant a number of Sidra trees in the area. A workshop raised awareness of the participants on the unacceptable phenomenon of graffiti defacing walls and how to cover these with new paintings with murals.
Al-Azba appreciated the efforts exerted by the Ministry of Sports and Youth in this campaign and hoped it would cover all areas of Qatar.
