Minister of Finance participates in 'Decoding Debt Dilemma: Unveiling Multilateral Solutions' Ssssion

HE Minister of Finance Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari participated in a panel session titled "Decoding the Debt Dilemma: Unveiling Multilateral Solutions Session" at the 21st edition of the Doha Forum, held under the slogan "Building Shared Futures."
The panel session featured the participation of HE President of the World Economic Forum Borge Brende, and HE President of the African Development Bank (AfDB) Group Dr. Akinwumi Adesina.
The panel session focused on the topic of public debt as a global economic challenge and the importance of finding multilateral solutions. Experts from various fields discussed the implications of rising public debt levels, their impact on economic stability, and the potential risks it poses to global financial systems.
The session also addressed the need for collaborative efforts among countries to develop effective strategies and policies to manage and reduce public debt.
His Excellency also spoke at length about Qatar's commitment to supporting development, both bilaterally and multilaterally, as part of the goals of Qatar's National Vision 2030, which aims to develop a society capable of playing a significant role in global partnerships for development. (QNA)
