Two Palestinians were martyred and two others were injured by Israeli occupation fire during confrontations in Al-Fawwar Camp, south of Hebron in the West Bank, on Monday.
According to Palestinian news agency (WAFA), the Israeli occupation forces stormed Al-Fawwar Camp amidst firing live ammunition and stun grenades at the Palestinians, leaving two martyred and two other injured.
Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation forces arrested Monday three Palestinians in the village of Jalboun and the town of Arraba, and stormed a number of villages in Jenin Governorate.
WAFA quoted security sources as saying that the occupation forces arrested two Palestinians after storming the village of Jalboun, raiding their families homes, and destroying their contents. The forces arrested another Palestinian while he was passing through a military checkpoint west of Ramallah.
In Bethlehem, the occupation forces arrested 15 Palestinians, including two girls and a journalist. Seventeen more Palestinians were arrested in Hebron.
The Israeli occupation forces have stepped up their operations in the occupied Jerusalem and West Bank in recent weeks, increasing the pace of incursions into Palestinian cities and towns and arrests against youth and activists.
