Qatar Chamber’s Real Estate Committee has convened its inaugural meeting for the new council.
During the meeting, which was presided over by Qatar Chamber board member and committee chairman Abdulrahman bin Abduljaleel al-Abdulghani, the committee reviewed its vision following several reforms, discussed strategic objectives, and outlined mechanisms of work.
The committee discussed the most important challenges facing the real estate sector and ways to develop it, as well as measures to coordinate with other committees in the chamber to support the presentation of its objectives. It will also prepare a study on challenges facing the real estate sector and submit its results to the authorities concerned.
It is worth noting that the Real Estate Committee is mandated to follow up on the implementation of strategic plans adopted by Qatar to develop the country’s property market.
Among other tasks, the committee reviews, follows up, and activates laws and legislation that contribute to developing the real estate sector, and provides the necessary recommendations.
It studies the challenges affecting the real estate sector to determine the corresponding solutions to address these issues. The committee also collects, monitors, and analyses the market and organises seminars, conferences and workshops that help develop the country’s real estate sector.
