South Korea's opposition leader Lee Jae-myung was attacked during a visit to the southern city of Busan.According to Yonhap News Agency, Lee, the leader of the Democratic Party, collapsed after being stabbed on the left side of his neck by an unidentified man while he was touring the new Gadeok Airport. He received first aid before being rushed to the hospital.Yonhap quoted eyewitnesses saying that the perpetrator, who pretended to be a supporter of the leader, approached him and asked for his autograph, then assaulted him with an unknown weapon measuring 20-30 cm in length, before being arrested at the scene of the accident.President Yoon Suk Yeol condemned the attack and expressed deep concern for Lee's condition, calling on the police and relevant authorities to quickly determine the facts.
