An earthquake measuring 5.5 magnitude on the Richter scale hit west of the Vinchina province in Argentina.
The US Geological Survey (USGS) said in a report that the earthquake was 79 km from the province, and at a depth of 154.5 km.
There have been no reports of human or material losses from the earthquake so far.
On Oct. 2023, a 5.6-magnitude earthquake struck the Argentine city of Salta, without any human or material losses reported. (QNA)
