Four people were injured in a blade attack carried out by a woman inside a train car in the Japanese capital, Tokyo.
The Japan Broadcasting Corporation (NHK) reported that the emergency police received a call warning of an armed woman with a blade in one of the train carriages at Akihabara Station.
The woman was arrested on an attempted murder charge after injuring four people, who were subsequently taken to the hospital for necessary treatment.
Traffic on the Yamanote Line was halted due to the incident. (QNA)
