Two Palestinians were injured and another was arrested on Tuesday during an Israeli occupation raid of Askar Camp, east of Nablus.
The Palestinian Red Crescent said that one Palestinian was injured by live bullets shrapnel in the foot from the New Askar camp, and another was injured after being severally assaulted and beaten up by occupation soldiers on Mount Gerzim Street.
The two injured individuals were transferred to a nearby hospital for medical treatment, according to Palestine's News Agency (WAFA).
The occupying Israeli forces, accompanied by a military bulldozer, stormed the new Askar camp in the morning hours, during which they fired live gunshots at residents.
The occupation forces reportedly stormed Jabal Gerzim Street area, broke into one of the houses and inspected it.
Israeli occupation forces further detained, Hamid Al-Amoudi, an-ex detainee, during the raid.
In a related context, the occupation forces stormed the town of Beit Furik, east of Nablus, leading to confrontations with locals. However, no injuries were reported.
The Israeli occupation forces also stormed several cities and towns in the West Bank. They stormed the city of Ramallah and imposed a siege on the Batn al-Hawa neighborhood in the city. They also raided the home of the prisoner Ayser Al Barghouti and interrogated his family members and a number of the neighborhood's residents.
Moreover, scores of armed Israeli colonists attacked the vehicles of Palestinian civilians in the town of Sinjil, north of Ramallah.
In Jericho, the Israeli occupation forces stormed Ain Sultan camp in the city, carried out provocative tours inside the camp's neighborhoods and threw sound bombs.
Cities, towns, and refugee camps in the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem witness daily raids by the occupation forces and settlers. These actions are accompanied by confrontations, arrests, live and rubber bullet shootings, and the use of tear and toxic gas canisters against Palestinian youth. The intensity of these actions has increased in conjunction with the unprecedented and continuous Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since Oct. 7, 2023.
