Roger Dubuis and long-term partner Ali Bin Ali Luxury, have inaugurated the first Roger Dubuis boutique in Qatar at the Villaggio Mall in Doha, a statement said Tuesday.
Designed like an art gallery, the boutique is an invitation to an immersive journey into the world of Roger Dubuis, the Inventor of Hyper Horology, it was explained.
"By blending in art and innovation, the space is an ode to the Maison’s craftsmanship, performance and hyper expressive designs. The 69sqm boutique is a fusion of minimalism and contemporary style influenced by a strike of refined brutalism.
"To celebrate Roger Dubuis’ game-changing spirit, two different spaces have been created in the Boutique, providing the ultimate experience for clients to discover the Maison and its timepieces.
"In the main area, clients will be immersed in the world of Roger Dubuis. The design is characterised by expressive lines and sharp and sleek shapes; while being complemented by Roger Dubuis’ signature elements. One of them being the Maison’s iconic astral shape on the central wall. Initially sculpted as part of the Excalibur collection’s skeleton, the iconic star was, since day one, important to Roger Dubuis himself.
"At the centre of the room, a high counter crafted from concrete and metal chrome is surrounded by high chairs, serving as an area to delve into the universe of the Maison and discover its timepieces closely.
"The room also features a cozy corner allowing an extended time for the clients to explore the Hyper Horology and Hyper Life of Roger Dubuis.
"In addition to the main area, a lounge will welcome up to eight guests in a tranquil ambiance. The slightly secluded area has been specially created for those who wish to enjoy their time and privacy viewing and trying-on the timepieces.
"The lounge is furnished with comfortable grey sofas and a wooden library that brings warmth to the space and showcases a series of special objects related to Roger Dubuis.
"To further introduce the Maison’s energy in the room, a vibrant carpet featuring a touch of Roger Dubuis' signature red is displayed on the floor, while the walls feature a printed wallpaper on one side and a mirror on the opposing wall.
"Clients and visitors will be immersed in the four collections: the iconic Excalibur, uncompromising in its exceptional mechanics and aesthetics; the Excalibur Spider, for those who live life in the fast lane and want to feel the thrill; the Knights of the Round Table, hyper exclusive Metiers d’Art pieces; and the Hyper-Watches, featuring high complications and bold designs," the statement added.
