His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani received a phone call Tuesday from President of the friendly Federal Republic of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier. During the phone call, they discussed the latest regional and international developments, notably the situation in Gaza and the occupied Palestinian territories, as well as topics of mutual interest. In this regard, the German president expressed his thanks to His Highness the Amir for Qatar's efforts and endeavors in the release of hostages.
