Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), Qatar's premier healthcare provider, has announced that the Qatar Thoracic Conference 2024 will be held from February 15-17 at the Sheraton Grand Doha Resort & Convention Hotel.
The conference is designed to bring together distinguished experts, researchers, and healthcare professionals worldwide to exchange knowledge and explore the latest innovations in thoracic medicine.
The event offers an exclusive platform for multidisciplinary discussions encompassing various topics of thoracic medicine, spanning the diagnosis, treatment, and management of lung diseases, respiratory disorders, and thoracic surgery. The Qatar Thoracic Conference 2024 boasts a diverse programme featuring panel discussions and interactive sessions. Experts will share their insights on lung cancer, interventional pulmonology, sleep medicine, and more.
They include Dr Ammar Sadoon (associate professor, Division of Pulmonology and Sleep Medicine, University of Alabama at Birmingham); Prof Ahmed Bahammam (Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine Professor, King Saud University, Riyadh); Dr Amjad Tuffaha (clinician in paediatric pulmonary and allergy/immunology); Prof Ella A Kazerooni (radiology and internal medicine professor, University of Michigan); Dr Hanaa Banjar (professor of paediatrics, Alfaisal University, Riyadh); Prof Nick Maskell (professor of respiratory medicine, The University of Bristol); Prof Omar Usmani (professor, National Heart and Lung Institute, Imperial College London).
