Doha, January 22 (QNA) - The State of Qatar's Public Prosecution and the General Prosecutors Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan signed Monday a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to identify bilateral cooperation areas and to plan, prepare and implement activities and training programs aimed at raising the efficiency of public prosecution staff in both countries, and exchanging experiences pertaining to their competencies.

HE Attorney General Dr. Issa bin Saad Al Jafali Al Nuaimi and HE Prosecutor General of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Nigmatilla Yuldashev, who is visiting Doha, signed the MoU.

In a pre-signing meeting, the two sides discussed ways to strengthen legal and judicial cooperation and exchange experiences between the public prosecutions in the two countries.

HE the Uzbek Prosecutor General and his accompanying delegation learned about Qatar's Public Prosecution's technological achievements, especially those related to applying digital transformation in the judicial field, and leveraging artificial intelligence to speed up judicial procedures and achieve criminal justice.
