Thanks to the generosity of the people of Qatar, Qatar Charity (QC) has succeeded in benefiting almost 6,000 male and female students over the past years through the establishment of Al-Fajr School in Tirana, the capital of Albania, and the Qatar Training Centre in Kosovo, in addition to building and furnishing other schools.This is part of the QC’s continued efforts to support the education of orphans and children from impoverished families around the world and comes in the context of marking the International Day of Education, a statement said yesterday.Al-Fajr School in Albania, which works on the cognitive, behavioural, and ethical advancement, currently has 400 students, including orphans and children from impoverished families, as well as children from the Syrian and Arab communities.The Qatar Training Centre, established in Kosovo in 2013, benefits 5,200 students, providing training in the areas of languages, information technology, design, photography, and management.Additionally, it offers training programmes for orphans sponsored by the QC.The QC also established, as of September 2023, a primary and preparatory school in Kosovo, benefiting 220 male and female students, the statement added.
