HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohamed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim al-Thani received Saturday a phone call from Iranian Foreign Minister Dr Hossein Amir-Abdollahian.
They discussed co-operation relations between the two countries and the latest developments in the war on Gaza Strip along with ways of de-escalating the situation.
HE Sheikh Mohamed affirmed Qatar's commitment to its efforts in mediating and facilitating negotiations between Iran and Western countries, including continuing to implement the recent agreement between Iran and the United States brokered by Qatar.
