The Israeli entity resumed Sunday its bombardment of southern Lebanon.
According to Lebanon's National News Agency (NNA), the western outskirts of the town of Tayr Harfa in southern Lebanon have been subjected to Israeli artillery shelling since early morning.
The Israeli army continues to bombard the Lebanese border towns with heavy artillery, targeting the towns of southern Blida, Al-Dhahira, Aita Al-Shaab, Hula, Qaaqour, and Naqoura.
On Saturday evening, Israeli warplanes carried out an air strike on Jabal Balat between Ramiyah and Marwahin.
There was also a repeated exchange of fire on the border between the Israeli entity and Lebanon, and Israel launched missile strikes on the Lebanese border area.
The occupation army announced earlier that it had raised its readiness on the northern front with Lebanon, with battalion-level training with live ammunition and urban combat.
The Israeli entity escalated its aerial and artillery bombardment of towns and villages in southern Lebanon, leaving dead and injuries among civilians, and forcing hundreds of families to flee their homes, in conjunction with its brutal and continuous aggression against Gaza Strip since Oct. 7, 2023.
