The World Health Organization (WHO) appealed to donors not to suspend their funding to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA)."We appeal to donors not to suspend their funding to UNRWA at this critical moment," WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said in a post on X."Cutting off funding will only hurt the people of Gaza who desperately need support," he added.Several countries have announced the suspension of funding for UNRWA in the wake of the allegations that some of its staff were involved in the Oct. 7 attacks on the Israeli entity.
