The United Nations Children's Fund (Unicef) warned that children in Gaza are at risk of missing their routine vaccinations as a result of the ongoing Israeli aggression since October 7, leaving diseases like pneumonia and polio looming over them.
UNICEF and partners are on the ground helping to protect children from preventable diseases by administering essential vaccines, the UN agency said.
The agency said it has delivered 962,550 doses of essential vaccines to the Strip.
According to medical sources, the number of civilians killed since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip on October 7 has risen to 26,637, the majority of whom were children and women. In addition, at least 65387 people were injured and about 8,000 were reported missing.
