Two pilots have been killed in a police helicopter crash in southeastern Gaziantep, Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced.
The helicopter of the aviation department of the general security directorate, which took off from Hatay to Gaziantep, crashed near the village of Kartal in Gaziantep province, killing two pilots and injuring a technician, Yerlikaya said in a post on X.
The last contact with the helicopter was made Saturday evening," he added.
The injured technician is under treatment in the hospital, Turkish Health Minister Fahrettin Koca said in a statement.
