About 300 low-income workers, including fishermen, benefited from the 47th free medical camp hosted by the Indian Community Benevolent Forum (ICBF) recently at KimsHealth Medical Centre, Meshaf.Indian ambassador Vipul inaugurated the camp. Indian embassy first secretary and ICBF co-ordinating officer Dr Vaibhav Tandale was present. ICBF president Shanavas Bava presided.The services provided included consultations in General Medicine, ENT, Cardiology, Dental, Dermatology, Orthopaedics and Physiotherapy. Transportation for attendees from different parts of Meshaf and Wakra was arranged under the leadership of Shankar Goud (head of fishermen committee).KimsHealth executive director Nishad Azeem, administrator Dr Rahul Munikrishna and ICBF officials including vice president Deepak Shetty, general secretary Varkey Boban, managing committee members Sameer Ahamed, Abdul Raoof and Zareena Ahad were present. Secretary Mohamed Kunhi welcomed the gathering and treasurer Kuldeep Kaur proposed a vote of thanks.
