Qatar TotalEnergies Open 2024: Participation of top ten ranked players worldwide will make this edition strong

Director of the Qatar TotalEnergies Open 2024 Saad Al Mohannadi said that this edition of Qatar TotalEnergies Open is one of the ten major tournaments worldwide in the Women's Tennis Association (WTA).
Al Mohannadi stated exclusively to Qatar News Agency (QNA) that the tournament sees the participation of the top ten ranked tennis players in the world which will make this edition very strong.
The organizing committee of the Qatar TotalEnergies Open 2024 wanted to ensure that they organized the best possible version of the tournament, he said.
Al Mohannadi expects many surprises to occur in the tournament as the players are eager to compete, and they are sure to deliver an impressive performance which will further make the tournament a success.
The Director of the Qatar TotalEnergies Open 2024 explained that they also were keen to provide places for fan events across the Khalifa International Tennis & Squash Complex.
Regarding the Arab participation in this edition, Al Mohannadi said that it is represented by Tunisian player Ons Jabeur, who is ranked fourth. Jabeur has great support and is respected globally and he expressed his hopes to see her win the title of the Qatar TotalEnergies Open 2024.
Garnering 1000 points that will be taken into account in the world rankings, winning the tournament is set to be extremely competitive in the best way, Al Mohannadi said.
