QSE index drops 5.46 points at start of trading

The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) dropped 5.49 points, or 0.05% at the beginning of trading on Monday, reaching 10,038 points compared to yesterday's closing.
Qatar Stock Exchange figures showed a positive performance in Transportation by 4.90%; Telecoms by 0.40%; Industrials by 0.37%; Banks and Financial Services by 0.26%; and Real Estate by 0.23%. In contrast, the index saw a decline in Insurance by 0.70% and Consumer Goods and Services by 0.11%.
At 10:00 am, Qatar Stock Exchange recorded 2871 transactions worth QR 143.340 million, distributed to 39.428 million shares.
