QSE index gains 35.55 points at beginning of trading

Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index gained 35.55 points at the beginning of Sundays trading, or 0.35%, rising to the level of 10,190 points compared to Thursdays closing.
QSE data showed a positive performance for the Consumer Goods and Services Sector by 1.12%, the Real Estate Sector by 0.93%, the Banking and Financial Services Sector by 0.57%, the Insurance Sector by 0.35%, the Telecom Sector by 0.18% and the Industrial Sector by 0.10%. On the other hand, the Transportation Sector had a negative performance of 0.09%.
At 10:00 a.m, Qatar Stock Exchange recorded trades worth QR 68.595 million, distributed among 30.246 million shares, with 2,859 transactions.
