At least 20 Palestinians were martyred and several others injured early Sunday following a series of Israeli occupations airstrikes targeting Rafah and Khan Younis in southern Gaza Strip.Eight people were martyred and others wounded when Israeli warplanes bombed the home of a family in Al-Jenena neighborhood in Rafah, the Palestinian news agency (WAFA) reported.Additionally, two others were martyred in Al-Hashaheen area of Rafah, while several were injured when an Israeli strike targeted the home of a family in Al-Nasr neighborhood in the northern part of the city.In Khan Younis, four Palestinians were martyred and others injured when occupation airstrikes hit a house belonging to a family in Al-Fukhari area to the east. Two women, including a child, were martyred and others injured in an Israeli strike on a house in Al-Yabani neighborhood west of the city.Another two Palestinians were martyred and others injured when an Israeli airstrike hit a tent sheltering displaced people in Al-Mawasi area, while two more were martyred and several injured in an airstrike on the home of a family in the northern part of the city, WAFA said.In Gaza City, four Palestinians were injured when occupation airstrikes targeted a home in Al-Tuffah neighborhood to the east of the city. The injured were transferred to the Arab Hospital in Gaza City for treatment, WAFA added.The Israeli entity resumed its aggression on the Gaza Strip last Tuesday, following a two-month pause under a ceasefire agreement that came into effect on Jan. 19. However, the occupation violated the terms of the ceasefire throughout those two months, as it continued to bomb various areas in Gaza, resulting in martyrs and injuries. The Israeli entity also refused to adhere to the humanitarian protocol and further intensified its siege on the Strip, exacerbating an already unprecedented humanitarian crisis there.
