HE Minister of State for Energy Affairs Eng. Saad bin Sherida Al Kaabi met Saturday with a number of his counterparts on the sidelines of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) currently being held in Algeria.
HE Minister of State for Energy Affairs met with HE Minister of Petroleum, Mines, and Energy of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania Nani Ould Chrougha and HE Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources of the Arab Republic of Egypt Tarek El Molla.
Also, HE Eng. Al Kaabi met separately with HE Minister of Petroleum of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela Pedro Tellechea, HE Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Gas) of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Ekperikpe Ekpo, and HE Oil and Energy Minister of the Republic of Senegal Antoine Felix Abdoulaye Diome.
During these meetings, discussions touched on bilateral relations and cooperation in the energy sector between Qatar and these countries, and means to enhance them, as well as issues related to the Forum. (QNA)
