Karwa Academy, a Mowasalat entity, Wednesday signed an agreement with Al-Ijarah Driving Academy as part of extending its first ‘Train the Trainers’ programme to the latter’s driving instructors on customer service and care, defensive driving techniques, road safety, traffic regulations as well as vehicle maintenance and inspection.
Over the past years, Karwa Academy has amassed a wealth of experience in the field as the main training institution to ‘Train the Trainers’ for all drivers at diverse mega events such as the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, including VIP, media and fan transportation, based on best international standards, a statement said.
During the signing of the agreement, Karwa Academy director Faisal al-Nuaimi noted that the agreement breaks ground for a new collaborative spirit among driving academies for safe streets in Qatar and ideal conditions for trainees.
“We are very happy about our first co-operation with Al-Ijarah Driving Academy and look forward to a dynamic and beneficial growth for all parties based on best practices,” he said.
“In view of the country steering towards environmental-friendly transportation, we are proud to also share our expertise in the handling and maintenance of electric vehicles due to our recent IMI certification,” he added.
Ibrahim Youssef Lafi, director of the Driver Training Academy, said the agreement aims to enhance the training process and raise the professional competence level to achieve the highest level of service in training, growth and performance development.
