The Crescent Sighting Committee at the Ministry of Endowments (Awqaf) and Islamic Affairs has called on all Muslims in Qatar to look for the crescent of the holy month of Ramadan Sunday evening, the 29th of the month of Shaban 1445 AH, corresponding to March 10.
In a statement Friday, the committee called on anyone who sights the crescent moon to to give their testimony at the Ministry of Awqaf headquarters in the Dafna Towers. The committee will hold its meeting immediately after the sunset prayer.
