Katara - the Cultural Village launched Monday its Ramadan Beach Volleyball Championship at Katara Beach, in co-operation with the Qatar Volleyball Federation (QVF). Eight teams are competing in two groups in the tournament running until March 28.
Earlier, a technical meeting was held for the draw of the championship. QVF board member Mohamed Salim al-Kuwari, Beach Volleyball Committee member and Qatar Beach Volleyball Federation's national teams' director Mohamed Anbar al-Nasser and Youssef Abdulrahman from Katara Beaches Department, were present.
