The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) rose 30.19 points, or 0.29%, at the beginning of trading on Tuesday, reaching 10,290 points compared to yesterday's closing.
The QSE general index was supported by a rise in all sectors: Telecoms by 0.91%; Insurance by 0.77%; Real Estate by 0.64%; Transportations by 0.29%; Consumer Goods and Services by 0.28%; Industrials by 0.26%; and Banks and Financial Services by 0.21%.
At 10:00 am, QSE recorded 1543 transactions worth QR 41.603 million, distributed among 16.672 million shares.
