The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) dropped 8.15 points, or 0.08%, at the beginning of trading on Sunday, reaching the level of 9,935 points, compared to last closing.
The performance of QSE general index was weighed down by a decline in four sectors: Insurance by 0.93%; Telecoms by 0.63%; Real Estate by 0.36%; and Industrials by 0.28%. However, QSE index saw a rise in Consumer Goods and Services by 0.69%; Transportation by 0.27%; and Banks and Financial Services by 0.03%.
At 10:00 am, Qatar Stock Exchange recorded 1,562 transactions worth QR 39.722 million distributed to 17.288 million shares.
