The Doha Chapter of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (DCICAI) recently hosted the grand finale of its 27th annual cricket fiesta. The four-week event drew an attendance of over 250 members, along with their families and children.

The tournament was participated by over 120 chartered accountants, divided into six men’s teams and two women’s teams.

In the women’s final, Team Brunel won against Care n Cure. Apexa Shah was declared the woman of the match.

In the men's final, Aster Team and Morison Qatar, achieved the highest-ever total runs in the tournament's history. Led by exceptional batting performances from Ashish Garg and captain Arun Somanath, Aster Team with 218 runs, won. Morison Qatar put up a commendable 204 runs, led by Captain Mohit R Monga and Vishnu Vijayan.

Ashish Gard won the Man of the Match award. The Man of the Series award was awarded jointly to Arun Somanath and Mohit R Monga for their overall performances through the tournament. The event was further enriched by the entertaining commentary provided by past chairperson Gopal Balasubramaniam.

The executive committee under the leadership of chapter chairperson Kamlesh Tibrewal, expressed gratitude to all sponsors for their support.
