The Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi discussed with members of the Troika of the Association of Caribbean States (ACS) the current and future aspects of their joint cooperation.
During the meeting, the two sides also discussed several topics, including political, commercial, investment, and tourism cooperation.
The two sides agreed to launch preliminary talks at the expert level between the General Secretariat of the GCC and the General Secretariat of the ACS during the next three months, to discuss several topics of common interest, including tourist dialogue, political consultation, climate change, building bridges of communication and cultural exchange. They also stressed the common desire to move forward to strengthen and develop relations during the coming period, and their aspiration for future projects that will benefit both sides and are based on common interests.
