Barwa Plaza Mall has been relaunched after a complete revamp, 'to offer a seamless shopping experience with a grand anniversary celebration offers with more brands'. The relaunch ceremony was attended by Landmark Group Qatar territory head Shumalan Naicker, deputy general manager (finance) Nitin Grover, public relations head Farhan al-Suwaidi, Waseef's leasing director Mohamed Ali al-Hamadi and support services director Khalifa Salman al-Mohannadi.
Naicker, said: "It’s an absolute delight seeing this mall transform from its previous structure to its beautiful contemporary look."
"The offerings in Barwa Plaza Mall are wider than before with the new Home Box Store and a few other new brands including F & B units coming up," he explained.
“The existing stores like Centrepoint, Max, Emax, Fun Ville, Shoexpress also have a new contemporary look. Digital technology has been used across the mall to modernise the feel. The exterior screen on the mall facade gained a lot of prominence and attention,” said Naicker.
Located at Barwa Village Wakra, Barwa Plaza Mall is well connected through major highways and Metro station. The ceiling pattern with organic lit curves and the floor with subtle mosaic pattern tiles, is complemented by the perforated panel design, derived from the local Mashrabiya pattern, seen on the columns.
The selection of earthy colour palettes makes the exterior and the interior of the mall look integrated. On the occasion of the relaunch and anniversary celebrations, Barwa Plaza Mall is running a campaign, 'Shop and Win Electronics' with prizes worth QR75,000. Customers shopping for QR200 and above at Centrepoint, Home Box, Max, Shoexpress or Emax until June 30, can win prizes such as 20 units of 55 inch TVs, 10 boom box speakers, 12 soundbars and 20 Bluetooth speakers.
