The Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE) organized the "Teach Me" festival for students with disabilities who represented seven model and primary schools for boys and girls.The festival was intended to include students with disabilities in schools and communities, in addition to developing their educational and physical skills.Addressing the festival, Head of the Physical Education Department at the MoEHE Salman Al Hazmi noted the MoEHE's pioneering role in empowering students with disabilities. He highlighted their rights as active members of society, along with the activities that help them engage in all activities.The event lasted for one day at the Cultural Village Foundation-Katara and featured diverse sports, patrimonial and national shows and were concluded with an art tableau titled "Here is Qatar," which was formed by all participating schools in a display expressing love for homeland and belonging.The festival began as a project in 2022 to provide theoretical and practical programs and educational workshops. It aimed to train teachers to deal with students with disabilities and will run for three years until 2025.
