HE the Minister of Labour, Dr Ali bin Smaikh al-Marri, met Tuesday with a number of ministers and senior officials participating in the "Doha Dialogue" on labour mobility between the Gulf states and African countries.
He met separately with UAE Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation Dr Abdulrahman bin Abdulmanan al-Awar; Senegalese Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Security Yankoba Dieme; Ugandan Minister of Gender, Labour and Social Development Betty Amongi; Ghana's Minister of Employment and Labour Relations Ignatius Baffour Awuah; and Regional Office Director for Arab States at the International Labour Organisation, Ruba Jaradat.During the meetings, they discussed aspects of co-operation in the labour sector, ways to enhance and develop them.
